Add Business Friends: Just like social networking sites, you can add friends to your profile. To add a member as a friends, visit their profile and click the 'Add Friend' link under their photo. Other members can add you too without your approval unless you change your settings to approve all friends. To make it easier for clients to learn about your company, you may want to add your partner companies, divisions or departments such as HR, PR & Sales. You may also want to add clients, suppliers and other companies.
Contact Business Friends: Contact other members directly through the site via email or private messenger. Emails go straight to the person's email address while private messages go to their inbox on the site. Both options are located on the lower left corner of the member profile.
Profile Comments: Leave positive comments & reviews on the profiles for other companies you respect. Just visit their profile and add the comment. Note: Leaving negative comments is a policy violation. Also note that members have complete control over their comments.
Discuss Business: While we do not allow replies to press releases & bios, the 'General Discussion' section allows you to post topics for discussion.
Poll the Members: Ask other members their opinions on new products, consumer preferences, etc. Just post your topic in the General Discussion area & enter your Poll when you enter your topic.
Organize/Publicize Events: Describe your event in the 'Event Profile'. Post the dates on the calendar. Poll member opinions in the 'General Discussion' section.
Research Industries & Companies: Each member's profile has a brief bio, photo/logo, web site link, business friends & all of the topics, press releases & bios they've posted.
You can also use the search function to search the whole site for information on a company.
